Mindful Eating

At London Weight Loss Hypnotherapy we work with our clients to help them tell the difference between real hunger and emotional hunger. One of the ways in which we help our clients to do this is by teaching mindful eating. Generally there is no good food or bad food when eaten in balanced quantities. The vast amount of problems that we see in our clinic result in people who are eating large quantities of food when they are not hungry. So they may eat a large dinner and then spend the rest of the evening picking at food that they do not really need. Our techniques help our clients to alter this form of overeating.*

Mindful Eating Hypnosis

When mindful eating is combined with hypnosis is becomes even more powerful because we use the subconscious to give us answers. Many of our clients come in to see us and tell us that they are unable to tell when they are full or hungry but generally under hypnosis your subconscious is able to identify the exact moment when you need to stop. We help you to utilise this powerful tool so that you begin to eat less and leave food on your plate.*

Our Mindfulness techniques of course require our clients to do some of the work. We make all our clients follow a set routine so that they become much more aware of their food choices. This involves you making changes to your external environment as well as your habits. We also make you pay attention to your feelings, thoughts and emotions and these will be discussed in detail during our sessions. With continued practice Mindful Eating can help you to change old behaviours and make way for new positive habits.*
